Fumbling a spent magazine back into its pouch mid-firefight costs time you rarely have. The Emerson Gear folding dump pouch gives you somewhere quick to drop empties, so you can reload and keep moving, then sort everything out once you are back in the safe zone.
It is smaller than most dump pouches, which keeps it neat and stops it bouncing around while you move. When you don't need it, it folds away flat against your rig or belt. A drawstring closes the nylon top, and you can leave it as loose or as tight as you like to make dropping mags in easier.
