📖 New to HPA? This runs on external high pressure air — it needs a tank, a regulator and a line before it will fire a shot. Read our complete HPA guide before buying.
The long one. A 380mm barrel and a 13-inch rail for players who shoot outdoors. The Gen 3 billet receiver with an INFERNO Gen 2 on the Spartan board, built out to full carbine length rather than cut down for buildings.

A 14-inch build is for woodland and open sites, where engagements start further out and nothing is forcing you to keep the gun short. The 380mm inner barrel is the longest in the Billet range, and the extra sight radius between a front and rear sight makes irons genuinely usable rather than a backup you never look through.

The rail is 13 inches rather than 14, which is Wolverine's own figure and worth knowing before you plan a build — it leaves the last of the outer barrel exposed in front of it, in the same proportion a real carbine does. Thirteen inches of M-LOK is a lot of room for a bipod, a light, a grip and a sling point without anything fighting for space.

Longer does mean heavier at the front, and a 14-inch gun is slower to swing onto a close target than a 10. If you split your time between a woodland site and a CQB night, the 10 inch is the more honest all-rounder. If you are outdoors most weekends, this is the one that suits the ground you play on.

The receiver is the part that does not change: solid 6061, machined to hold Intrinsic Alignment so the engine, hop and barrel sit on one axis with no shimming. Choosing Tactical over Standard is what puts the black-oxide steel flash hider, the DLG grip and the milspec stock on it.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the rail 13 inches on a 14 inch gun? Because that is how Wolverine build it, and it mirrors a real carbine where the rail stops short of the muzzle. You get 13 inches of M-LOK and a short length of exposed barrel in front of it.

Does the longer barrel shoot further? It gives a little more energy at the same pressure and a longer sight radius, which helps. Range on an airsoft gun is mostly hop, bucking and BB weight, so treat the barrel as one factor rather than the answer.

Is it much heavier than the 10 inch? Wolverine quote 4.1lb for the Tactical trim across the lengths, so on paper it is close. What you notice is the balance rather than the number, with more of the weight out in front of your support hand.

What BB weight suits it? A heavier BB makes more of a long barrel than a light one does. Set the hop for whatever you settle on and chrono it rather than swapping weights mid-day.

Can I shorten it later? Yes. The outer barrel, rail and inner barrel are all replaceable MTW-Spec or AEG parts, so a 14 inch can become a 10 inch without touching the receiver or the engine.

⚠ Always run a secondary regulator. Never put tank pressure straight into the engine. Set your output before you shoot, and chrono at the site every time.

💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: Thirteen inches of rail is enough to overload the front of a gun — fit what you will actually use and leave the rest in the box. See HPA rifles.
