We are proud to unveil the latest addition to our Raven Forge Legends Collection—an officially licensed, meticulously crafted replica of Yasuke’s Wakizashi from the highly anticipated Assassin's Creed Shadows, A Ubisoft Original.
Forged with precision and passion, this stunning piece is based directly on in-game artwork, including concept art and 3D models we had exclusive access to ahead of the game’s release. But we didn’t stop at accuracy—we applied our expertise in historical swordcraft to ensure that this isn’t just a replica, but a beautifully balanced and expertly crafted sword in its own right.
The wakizashi, a revered sidearm of the samurai, was traditionally worn alongside a katana—a symbol of status, duty, and skill. This exceptional replica features an intricately wrapped faux rayskin handle and saya (scabbard), custom menuki (handle ornaments), and a tsuba inspired by the crest of the Oda clan. Every detail has been thoughtfully recreated to bring Yasuke’s weapon to life.
Holding this sword, you’ll immediately feel its craftsmanship, and dedication that went into its creation. It’s more than a collectible—it’s a true tribute to the Assassin’s Creed universe.

A bit about Raven Forge.
Let's start at the beginning for those of you who don't know anything about Raven Forge. Raven Forge is a small company from the UK, based in rainy Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales, that was founded and is run by two brothers, Sam and Tom Ive.
Sam and Tom grew up on fantasy, sci-fi and computer games, with a deep love of everything from Star trek, to Lord of the Rings, Terry Pratchett, Final fantasy, Dungeons and dragons, and everything in between.
Before Raven Forge, Sam worked for the NHS, working with people with mental health issues and learning difficulties , and Tom worked for North Yorkshire Council, maintaining the stunning old buildings and walks of the Yorkshire Dales. In their spare time, they owned and operated a historical sword-fighting club called Tree of Shields. It was this passion for historical swords and armour that led the brothers to start what is now Raven Forge.
Fast forward 3 years, COVID-19 lockdown and hundreds of social media live streams and community events later, we reach 2022. This was to be the year they decided they were going to become the official collector's choice for TV, movie, and video game replicas, going on to later not just acquire a singular license, but collecting and curating them into one Legend Collection of epic proportions.
They can't wait to share with you the beginning of their Legend Collection and the stunning in-game swords that we're bringing to life, as well as the stories of the amazing people they have had the opportunity to work with these last few years
